Woodshop

St. Joseph, who was a carpenter, is the patron Saint of our school’s founding order, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. We are blessed to have our Facilities Manager and almunus, Mr. Bill De Smet, work alongside our students combining the innovative concepts of engineering, physical science, and gross motor skills with the curriculum being taught in the classroom. Our students learn various woodworking skills and technique such as wood staining, sanding, the demolition process, machinery usage, wood types and more.
